Empowering Lives: A Brighter Future for People with Type 1 Diabetes

At Meethi Zindagi, we’re on a mission to create a world where every person with type 1 diabetes (T1D) can thrive—because no one should face this journey alone. Through awareness and advocacy, we’re driving change, breaking down barriers, and building a community that empowers individuals to live their best lives!

Igniting Awareness:

Understanding diabetes is the first step toward transforming lives. We're passionate about creating a world where no child loses their life to misdiagnosis, and every person with T1D feels supported and empowered to take control of their health.

Awareness
  • Raising awareness about diabetes helps individuals understand the causes and recognize symptoms of diabetes, which is the first step toward early detection. Meethi Zindagi aims to create a diabetes-aware society where no child loses their life because of misdiagnosis or lack of insulin ever again, where no individual has to face complications from late diagnosis or lack of proper diabetes education and where every individual with type 1 diabetes feels heard, understood & empowered. To achieve above mentioned objectives, Meethi Zindagi carries out following activities:
  • Awareness Sessions
  • Awareness Stalls
  • Podcasts
  • World Diabetes Day
  • Meetha Ramadan

Aimed at raising awareness about diabetes within the general community while also providing valuable insights to help those living with diabetes manage their condition more effectively, our podcasts are designed to be casual and informal, creating a comfortable space where listeners can engage with experts, hear personal stories, and learn practical tips for better diabetes management. Through these conversations, we strive to educate the general public and empower the diabetes community.

  • World Diabetes Day
Revolving around a particular topic regarding diabetes care, every year on November 14th, in observance of World Diabetes Day, Meethi Zindagi, with the help of our supporters and sponsors, organizes symposiums and events dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes. These gatherings bring together healthcare professionals, the diabetes community, and the general public to discuss diabetes care, share experiences, and promote healthier lifestyles. Through these events, we aim to educate the public, foster a deeper understanding of diabetes, and empower individuals to take proactive steps in managing their health.

  • Meetha Ramadan
